Types of phone chains: short, beaded, and crossbody
We make three lengths so you can match the chain to how you carry your phone:
- Short resin phone chains (30 cm) — a compact wrist strap in colourful resin beads. Lightweight and playful, it keeps your phone in hand and easy to grab.
- Glass & suede bead chains (40 cm) — a medium length in handmade glass beads and soft suede detailing. Long enough to loop over a wrist, short enough to carry in hand.
- Long crossbody phone chains (120 cm) — worn across the body to keep your hands completely free. The go-anywhere choice for travel, errands, festivals, and nights out.
How to attach a phone chain
Every Alter Ego chain clips onto a case with a built-in strap hook or side loops — just connect the clasp and go. Our matte iPhone cases with a strap hook are made for exactly this, or you can shop a ready-matched case & chain set. If your case has no loop, a universal phone adapter tab tucked inside the case works too.

Every chain and strap is handmade in Bulgaria with care, using materials like glass and suede that are made to last. Produced in limited quantities — so you get pieces you won't see on everyone else.

They work with any case that has a strap hook or side loops. All ALTER EGO cases with a strap hook are compatible. If your case has no loop, use a universal phone adapter tab inside the case.
Clip the chain's clasp onto the strap hook or side loop on your case. It takes a couple of seconds and needs no tools.
Choose 30 cm (short) to carry your phone in hand or on the wrist, 40 cm (medium) for a loose wrist loop, or 120 cm (long) to wear crossbody with your hands free.
Depending on the style, our chains use coloured resin beads, handmade glass beads, or soft suede detailing, finished with metal clasps that rotate 360° to prevent tangling.
